(brief description to the end) - very small and compact • design is subtle and takes up little space they look "cute" as a friend would say - lightweight, easy to assemble • when installing in drywall, the use of anchors is recommended , but I did not find it necessary because of their ease. Just 2 simple screws!- Functionality • Very loud! It's amazingly louder than my old system. Affordable • For the price, you can't beat all the pros for a beautifully designed product. Cons (oh my god) 1. It seems to me that they make them and keep them until sold and may not test them before sending them to the consumer (you). While the ones that work great I ordered 6 packs. 3 of these seem cool and I didn't have to use them, knock on wood (metaphorically), the other 3 not so much. 2 sound like they are already at death's door and you have to press the button a few times for the test function to work, which makes me nervous if they would work in a real situation. Last but not least, the last smoke alarm works but the speaker sound is blown out. Not ideal for something you want to wake you up in your sleep.2. Customer service. I emailed the company directly to let them know about these issues and gave them my name and order number so they could easily verify that I was a verified buyer. Anyway, I contacted them on Thursday, I haven't heard a response yet (2 business days), it's Sunday and there is no response, only 4 days.
