I cut this mug to fit a mug whose plastic straw had become dusty from bending too much. The new one works fine, but the rattling bothered me. metal on metal. Didn't expect that. I put some car tape in several places and now the installation is nice and quiet. Straw also falls into the trap. Good. chaos
