The reeds smell like vinegar and don't absorb essential oils well
I was excited to make my own reed diffusers with quality essential oils and disappointment is an understatement. These sticks smelled of vinegar from the packaging. I thought the oils would be absorbed and I wouldn't smell them but. NOT CORRECT. And they don't absorb oils well enough to refresh even a small bathroom. I am currently buying better quality sticks.
