My system consists of a Denon avr740h, ELAC Debut 2.0, floor and center (6 inch versions), Sonance MAG6r surround and ceiling height, in Atmos configuration. I also run two 12" Klipsch R-120sw subwoofers. Subwoofers are great for what they are, but they throw so much garbage into the environment, and the feet they come with are hard plastic, but always still rubber. In short, they suck. My house and windows shook like marble in a dryer. I did the room settings (Denon room correction, sound level meter, gain settings, etc.). Pad and soundproof the room as much as possible, if you still want your living room to look inviting for real people subwoofers still needed help I considered other brands but my subwoofers are the size of a small moon so this wasn't the option I wanted to go with since I needed two. Instead I opted for SVS feet for both subs (requires 8 total) and for the $100 I spent they made a huge difference in sound and d room. I was very, very skeptical. But if it wasn't for the price I would give 5 stars. They're not a panacea, but they certainly help isolate your subwoofers and improve overall bass/live sound delivery in movies and music applications. They are currently on a $100 subscription, they are not worth it. Get a new sub and start with that. But if you already have some hardware cash and want to set it up without going broke, start here.
