Perfect! I bought it not only to use with my laptop but also for drawing. That works great! The table is big, lots of space. It fits easily on my laptop and a small Wacom digital art tablet. The table is very well made and stable. It's also waterproof, so splashes won't harm it. I bought this table on purpose because it's slightly larger than most other brands I've looked at (11 inches, not 9). That makes it a bit big, but I wanted to make sure I had enough legroom underneath in case I decide to use it while sitting on a floor cushion. The width is great too, with enough room underneath to sit cross-legged. The only thing I would change is that it had a slot for my 10 inch tablet. Sometimes I like to look at my reference images on my tablet while drawing on my laptop or paper and a slot would make things easier. Otherwise perfect!
