It's great for my bunny. She loves it. My cat like it too, it's just a bit small for her. And she's not a big cat at all so maybe not the best for any cat over 10lbs.It was relatively easy to put together. I saw reviews mention extra pieces. Those are not extra. Each wall and base should have 2 cardboard pieces in it. That does make it very sturdy. I'll probably use some wood glue to keep things in place. One of the poles doesn't fit tightly and slide out when i move it.It great. Better than cheaply made sythentic cat trees that will end up in a landfill for thousands of years
