I bought size 5-10 for my 2.5 year old. As expected, it's quite large for this, but I wanted a velcro strap instead of an elastic strap. He also has a very large head (99th percentile) so believe it or not if I tighten the velcro to about half the length if not adjusted it fits his head. I'm a bit disappointed that the drawn drawing is off-center. According to other reviews this is not usually the case but I don't have time to swap his hat as Monday is 'hat day' at school and he wants to bring his new tractor hat. I bought it for $14.99, which seems like a lot for a baby hat, but I think you're probably paying for the brand after all. I almost took another, cheaper tractor hat, but she wouldn't have time to get here on time, so this one will do. Luckily, it looks like it's going to fit for years to come.
