I bought this kit for T-shaped handles. I have used several other cheap brands needle tools that have plastic handles, the worst being shaped like a screwdriver handle. They are difficult to use. You have to push hard so it pays to have the handles in this kit that are large metal T-shaped tubular handles. The kit comes with a replacement needle which is a great idea because they can break. It pay to wear leather gloves because if something breaks you can easily skewer a knuckle. I keep this in my truck with a small pair of needle nose vice grips. They work better than pliers.
