I bought this phone holder to attach to the car dashboard. The installation went without any problems, the holder worked perfectly for about 3 weeks. Then one morning I found a bracket on the floor of the car and just a drop of glue on the dashboard. Half a circle of glue dripped over the dashboard (see attached picture) and the plastic ring that was stuck to the glue came loose. It seems to me that the adhesive used in this product can't stand the heat of car dashboards, and it's never been hotter here in Southern California.
