I've been using Proactiv for decades, but in my 30's I realized it was becoming too harsh on my skin. I no longer stick to the original 3 step system and instead just use this cleanser and oil on my skin after washing. As a result, my skin is very soft and acne-free. As a side note, my acne has always affected my skin texture as well, creating tiny bumps all over my forehead. This cleanser does away with that, leaving my skin flawless and smooth. I love this purifier and hope I can always find it! worth your money.
