1) My older dog was terribly upset about this even at low speed, she ran away, hid and tucked her tail in like he was physically hurt. My pup barely noticed even at height so it was very difficult to use. I didn't want my older dog to be scared of this thing but it didn't seem to affect my pup. 2) It only lasted about a week before the battery died. 3) I didn't like that there is no setting to activate without a light. I wanted to use it to get dogs to stop barking in my yard - I often need to get their attention late at night in the yard and of course I don't want to yell at their barking late into the night. , but I don't want to keep flashing it either, which annoys my neighbors too.
