For a long time I chose a high-aperture fix. The choice was between 35 and 50mm. Because I shoot a lot of landscapes and often have to shoot indoors, then 50mm. dropped by itself. I took 35mm. and fell in love with this glass. Optimal focal length (52mm on my D5100), excellent image sharpness and detail, good open bokeh - made this lens my standard lens, which I donβt shoot from the camera. Thanks to this focal length, it is verycomnvenient to shoot - as you see with your eyes, the frame iscommposed. I got used to capricious autofocus, but when I got used to it, the percentage of defects is no more than 5-10%, which is very good for a fix. It's funny to read reviews in which the lack of a stub is indicated as a drawback. I freaked out, to be honest. In my opinion, this glass is the absolute world champion in terms of price / quality ratio . All recent photos were taken with this lens:
