So the product seems warm but the size I bought was too big for my dog. lb, a 5 month old Havanese did not fit the little one. I had to buy the X-Small because it bogged down in it. It's not the company's fault. Rather than return it, I gave it to my mother-in-law, who owns a 13-14 pound bichon. The bichon matches the coat but has a wider chest that leaves a tight fit. A coat can add a few inches more to the chest in such dogs. One star deducted for that. The coat is very well made but at the time of writing this review it has not been weather tested so I cannot say it is waterproof. It's thick and warm enough that if my dog could wear it, I'd be comfortable walking in the snow with it. I added photos of my dog in a coat. the dog is still growing but after my dog is fully grown i will definitely buy this coat again after measuring.
