I bought this mainly to connect to a big screen and it works really well. what do i need it for Two points of caution with this product. It may not fit in the protective case, which means you will have to remove the case when you need to use it.2. On two occasions when I left my Surface Pro plugged into a large screen overnight, I had to perform a hard reset (Hold the Home button 30-40 times) to get my Surface Pro to start. I have a friend who had a similar issue and after several reboots he couldn't restart his Surface Pro. So if you want to connect to a big screen, I recommend disconnecting before putting your computer to sleep.
