It doesn't snow very often here, and when it does, it's usually icy. But we take what we can get. We needed something thick and strong to keep the ice from cutting through. My child's first experiences with snow weren't good, so I wanted to make sure he was as comfortable as possible. He really likes them and they have multiple adjustment points for a good fit. My child is very thin and lanky. He's about 38 inches tall and barely weighs 30 pounds. The 3T suits him with plenty of space. If it still fits next season I can lengthen the straps or add more straps to last another year, but for $15 it was a no-brainer. The elastic hem fits over his winter boots too.
