Hard upholstery outdoors, but gradually softening. Good neck support but needs to be broken in!
The pillow was very hard at first (I found it very hard for a foam pillow). As I gradually used it more and more, it gradually softened, resulting in it being soft but feeling like the right amount of support. You might also think the pillow is too hard when you first take it out of the box, but I think if you give it a week or two to break down, this could definitely be the pillow for you ! To be honest I ordered two Tempur-Pedic pillows a few weeks ago but I have a feeling I'll end up returning them because this one really meets my needs. This SensorPEDIC is a solid choice in the memory foam pillow category.
