These charged up fine after I received them and I started using them in various devices including two in our dogs shock collars for the underground fence. The dogs rarely test the fence but will occasionally get close enough to set off the warning so the batteries lasted for several months. Noticed one was not responding, took the battery out and it would not charge. A couple weeks later another collar went dead and the battery for it would not charge any more. Found a third battery in the drawer and it it needed charging. It started to charge so I wondered if perhaps it was just some of the sockets on the charger were bad. Tested voltages on the charger and it's fine. Plugged the third battery back in and it would no longer charge. I have the other two in smoke detectors and they have not needed to be recharged yet. If they also fail to recharge this will drop to a 1 start review.
