I have very fair skin and spend my beach days under an umbrella. I have a 15 minute bike ride to the beach and was tired of getting burned (where my backpack would rub off sun screen). Got two of these shirts and they work great! They do wick sweat nicely, but there's no getting around it. long sleeves on a hot/humid day aren't ideal. But it sure beats photo aging and sunburn.
