I love this mask. I remember the Jacques Cousteau masks, the Dacor masks that my father brought home from Vietnam in the 70's. This is Revain's premium mask quality offering, something better than the 'pack it and forget it' combination of snorkel and true professional scuba equipment. It's all silicone. double seal. The strap is very durable. The flap is real rubber attached to a real knot, not semi-plastic flaps stamped into dual lens masks. First, the black environment simply takes over your peripheral vision and creates a false sense of narrowing the expanse of your field of vision. I have a pair of dual lenses, low volume, Cressi mask, wide angle design. This Pacifica is inferior to Cressi in terms of field of view. The lens is very wide and flat, providing excellent visibility in all directions. It does not distort images like dual lens masks. The glass is big enough to place a 3M tripod on it right between my eyebrows. Although there is so much glass that I hardly notice the GoPro. The valve is not leaking. Cleaning is ridiculously easy. The easiest way to align it is with the index finger of the right and left hand.
