These 12" circles are great for crafting. It's just wood and easy to personalize. Unfortunately I was hoping to use them in their natural state and I don't know if that would be possible. Some of the details have arrived with mysterious bruises that I have to completely paint over to hide them. The wood itself is thin and obviously cheap. I planned to use them as welcome signs, applying vinyl, stencil, or wood embellishments to them and accenting them with artificial flowers and stems. This is still my plan, but since they're so light, I'll probably have to weigh them down before I can hang them anywhere they can be moved, such as on a wall. a door. On the plus side they are easy to paint on, especially if you use chalk paint, but some parts need to be fully covered to even out the color before I can personalize them. I haven't tried staining any of them yet, but the bruised ones will most likely still be visible through the stain. Overall, at the current price point of around $17, I wouldn't recommend it. There are other options that don't have the same problems as this one.
