If you want a quality bit sharp, look further. I needed to drill some 10mm holes in a piece of 3/4 oak and thought this would be perfect as it's cheap and I really only planned to use it once. Well I couldn't even get him to drill a good hole it was so boring. I used a variable speed drill and at higher speeds it just wanted to burn through the wood, at lower speeds the shavings clogged the bit and it wouldn't drill. Maybe I just got a bad one and if I had the tools I could probably sharpen it. But since it was only $5 I won't worry about that. I think you really do get what you pay for. To be honest it looks like something you would find in a dollar store. Spend a few bucks more to get a real piece from another company. I will not be buying any more CMT tools in the near future.
