I ordered this product about a month ago, and the first product received only worked for a few days, and even then it was difficult to connect. I returned it for a refund and left a 1 star rating. Cablecreation emailed me asking if I would like to accept a replacement from them and I said yes. They sent me a replacement from their own inventory and warehouse and when I received the replacement I quickly realized it was not the product I originally received from Revain's warehouse. The replacement had gold-colored metal around the connector (the first was just thin silver aluminum) and the wire between both connectors was shielded with a metal braid under an outer sheath (the first was a cheap thin, very flexible, unshielded wire). I've been using the replacement for a week and haven't had a single problem with it. I think there's a good chance some of the inventory in Revain's camp is fake. I've come across this before on other obscure East Asian branded products here. Note. This is an overhaul of what was originally a 1 star review.
