Review on Pirelli Ice Zero 195/60 R15 88T winter by Andrey Kolev ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Overall good, but I expected more, there are disadvantages.

Why nobody lists the tire's attributes and maker is a mystery to me. After all, the same model on a heavy vehicle is not the same as on an SUV. So, I went out and got myself a pair of 2022-era Romanian-made 235/55 R18 tires with reinforced sidewalls. I installed it on a Tiguan 2 and was driven insane by the roaring engine. First off, let me say that I finished the 500-kilometer race in record time. Then there was the return trip's 1700-kilometer drive to Latvia and back. Because of the rumble, I had to call for help twice while driving (I felt I'd lost my bearings both times). After I laid down three layers of SHUMMKO flooring and AROK. BUT. NOT ONE BIT! If a technologist from the company happens to stumble across this review, I implore you to take this feedback to heart and reconsider the rubber's chemical makeup. Incorrect pain, which is unexpected from a high-quality tire.

Pros
  • This snow is seriously cool. Long lasting. Excellent traction on the icy surface. Over 26,000 kilometers later, the tread shows no external changes and only 4-5 spikes have been removed, thus it seems like it will last a long time. Product of Romania.
Cons
  • Turns are a mystery to me. Very noisy; I'll elaborate in the comments. Premium tires shouldn't cause discomfort like that.
