Review on Lenovo Legion Y540-15 Gaming Laptop 81SX00NNUS: Intel Core i7-9750H, 16GB RAM, 512GB+1TB Storage, NVIDIA GTX1660Ti, 15.6" IPS Display by Brent Borseth

I'm a game lover and I like to play games on low/medium settings. At the same time, I spend most of my time at the computer studying or working. However, the biggest pet annoyances get bogged down in a few simple tasks related to work/school or simple casual play. For the money it was fantastic value despite good durability. A powerful processor and 16GB of RAM at this price point is about $500 more than many other laptops, not to mention that unless they're business-class they have a banging RGB setup that's just one 40-year-old virgin in her mother's basement. For me, the 1660 Ti was just a nice addition to the other components I needed performance from, not to mention the TB and 512GB hard drive. There's an optional hybrid mode where you can turn on the UHD graphics chip for everything but gaming, after which the dedicated card kicks in. Increases battery life and temperature for everything else except gaming. I also lowered the CPU voltage, for my use even for gaming this wasn't an issue and improved battery life/lower temperatures. Looks like they increased the price but so far it's been great. The only claim is that the body is all plastic and the camera comes from below, not to mention the quality of the Insta camera, other than that the computer in question is disappointing
