Short version: Features keep changing even though the model number is the same. This is a problem and a big disappointment as the MR2200 I received does not have the (stereo) line input which I use to connect my MP3 player :-( NOTE: the microphone input is MONO and gives Stereo inputs not correctly restored Long version: I'm a big fan of AKER's rechargeable speaker range, I've bought 4 MR2200, 1 MR 2800 and 2 AK 38 over the years The best features are the volume for the small size and the battery life (4-6 hours at full volume!) Worst of all, the control quality was poor.Note: I use these speakers solely to play music from my MP3 player or phone by plugging the 3.5mm stereo jack on the Line -In use. On some models, the line-in is interrupted and disabled. It just doesn't seem to be very durable. Except also, a model I bought didn't play both channels right out of the box! whether both channels are exhausted.) Another thing that has changed over time is the feature set. All previous models I've bought had at least two inputs - each has a 3.5mm jack, but one is for a microphone and is MONO, the other is LINE IN, for things like MP3 players and stereo. Over time, AKER has added slots for USB and, more recently, for microSD. (still waiting for bluetooth!). Unfortunately, the specs change, but the model numbers don't. I currently have an MR2200 with Line-In. I ordered a second one expecting to receive the exact same model; So I was able to hook up the signal and had two speakers in my East Bay Bike Party backpack on my unicycle. But the new thing I received, the subject of this review, was DIFFERENT. It now comes with a microSD slot - a nice feature but not what I need and NO LINE IN. AND NO YOU CANNOT USE THE MIC INPUT - YOU WILL ONLY HEAR THE SECOND CHANNEL VERY VERY VERY FAINT - LOOK. LED ZEPPELIN TEST ABOVE. So Aker or TK Products or whoever is marketing these products really needs to work together.
