Review on Type C External Writer Burner Optical External Components by David Norwood

I've always wanted to try the DVD reading and writing capabilities and this product allowed me to do it in Windows 10. I bought a Maxell DVD+ RW. Test the function. Once the device is plugged in, Windows 10 gives me the option to use it as my flash drive of choice. The next question was how fast is it? Now that came as a surprise. It reported the speed of the NVMe storage type connected to the motherboard! Very fast. I think what is happening is that the Windows 10 OS created a DVD-RW abstraction with a local drive (which is NVMe attached to the motherboard). Thus, the actual writing of the DVD-RW buffer to the media will not finish until it is closed. In any case, this product is good!
