Bought this a few months ago when I couldn't get a USB capture device. HDMI capture aside, you can use it to open network streams and convert to NDIHX. You can do 1 encode at 1080p60 or record from HDMI AND a separate network stream at the same time in 1080p30 instead. I use this feature so I can convert H264 program stream and HDMI multiview output from my switcher via NDIHX. There are quite a few protocols and encoding options that you can work with through the webpage interface. The quality looks good and with the right player I can get around half a second of latency. Nice little box.
