Great choice in one purchase and appears to be quality metal. However, they are very thin and smaller than the average earring size. I measured with a caliper and they're closer to a 23 than a 22, but they would be great for someone who hasn't worn a nose ring in a while. The nose bones/L are snug against the skin and have no hooking prongs so I could sleep in them without losing them, although they are small compared to what I usually wear. The rings are thin and elegant. However, if you can carry 22/23 g nose bones, you probably won't be able to wear a retainer. I didn't measure either, but I think it's a 16 gauge detent.
