After hours of research I purchased a 16 channel Onwote with 8 dome cameras for security and an Onwote PTZ device with sound, pan, tilt, zoom and autofocus to capture my purple swallows watch my desk. All cameras record high quality video and are very easy to play back. With a PTZ camera, I can see squirrels running through the trees about 120 meters from my house. I chose the RJ45 camera connection because I didn't want to install spare batteries or worry about Wi-Fi connectivity. It was very easy to install. Of course I can no longer walk around in the attic, my 2 nephews helped me there. One of them is quite high, he didn't need a ladder to install cameras under the ceiling. The other is small enough to walk around in the attic. Neither of us had any experience connecting cameras or running cables. In 2 hours they connected and started 9 cameras. After about 4 months one of the dome cameras stopped working. I have emailed Onwote Customer Support. Support offered to check a few things and decided the camera wasn't working. After 2 days I had a new camera and installed it with no problems. All cameras work great. Onwote supports your hardware.
