Review on Enhance Your Workspace with the HON HVST141 Task Chair: Height Arms, Adjustable Lumbar, Black by April Kahn

If it gets to you with all the parts, then it's a decent chair.

First of all, regarding the packaging of the chair in the box, it looks like it was made by capuchins with a bad attitude. Parts are somewhat wrapped, thrown into a box that is MUCH too weak for its contents, and partially taped shut. When the UPS driver put it on the step and my wife picked it up, the bottom fell out of the box and parts flew everywhere. I wasn't sure if everything went through shipping, but oddly it did. So for the chair. It's good. Heavy, durable and comfortable. My only two issues were that the directions are wrong at one point where it asks you to put one set of screws in front of the other. When you do this, you'll find that you unscrew it and put it in the right order. Install the chair back using the set of screws closest to the back, then insert the rescue handle mechanism underneath, then insert the other two chair back screws through both pieces. Then finish the screws of the lift handle mechanism. This is definitely a chair made for taller people as advertised. Shorter people will feel lost in it, but if you prefer a heavier/wider size, this is a great option.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Almost never
