This was a direct replacement for the four solenoids in my 1970's Warm 8274. Easy to install as all the cables and jumpers are the same as the original. I switched to 2 AWG wire from the solenoids to the motor. I ordered a new type of solenoid from Warn, but they are shaped differently and require a new fuse plate and different copper jumpers. It's a lot of work and money to rework a new design. These cheap Chinese solenoids worked great (no ground or wire problems, just like the original design). Time will tell if they work in the long run, but solenoids aren't complex electronics. My old ones lasted over forty years only ruined by an electrical fire in the motor. I think they will work fine and are very easy to install.
