Comments added 6/21/2019 — One of the shock absorbers had its lower end splintered, dislodged from the ball stud and punctured the upper portion of the taillight assembly. While driving, my daughter "heard" the pop of the end splitting and popping out. I am anxious! These shocks seem to work better on my Vue than the latest OEM kit (second replacement kit from 2007). Easy Installation - Don't remove the old clips, just slide them out and then remove the end of the bushing from the stud. The tailgate now opens all by itself, safely over my head (I'm 6ft 3in)! Closing requires a little more force. Very satisfied!
