Review on πŸͺ’ Je&Co Silvertip Badger Hair Shaving Brush - Handmade Fine Resin Handle, Stainless Steel Base (Black) by Amber Byrd

Revainrating 5 out of 5

This is by no means a true Silvertip; not in a million years

The most striking thing is that it's just not a silver tip. I was curious as it was advertised as a silver tip and my other newest brush is VIKINGS BLADE Dark Stallion which is 100% pure badger bristle which appears to be inferior in quality to silver tip. For the price, this brush is about $10 cheaper than the Dark Stallion. But it's worth the €10. This brush is lightweight and feels cheap. This brush is a mystery to me. When I pulled it out of the container, it was kind of dangling in my hand. It turns out that the base just unscrews, at which point the "body” of the brush (a lightweight polymer tube) detaches and you have bristles attached to a cap with a long protruding screw. The body is hollow leaving plenty of room around the filaments, which does exactly what I expected, which is to collect water which then seeps into the brush and washes away the suds. Another annoying thing about this brush. That's how much effort it takes to create any type of foam. I use Viking Revolution Sandalwood Shaving Cream. When I apply a small amount of cream to the bristles of the Dark Stallion or Escali Badger brush ($10 cheaper), the cream turns into a thick foam. I had to load this brush twice to get about half the lather. is she soft As if. It's a little softer than the Escali, but not as plush as the Dark Stallion, and the Dark Stallion lifts and exfoliates much better; It makes your face shave cleaner than this brush. If you already have a good brush, give it a try.
