Review on Black Diamond Crampon Bag Orange by Jermaine Krishnamoorthy

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Does what it should.

I used to use rubber tips on the tips but it was difficult to put on 24 of them (12 per cat) every time I was done with crampons, especially with gloves on. With this I can easily connect two cats together (point to point) and put them in a bag. The fastening on the outside of the backpack allows me to quickly put on or take off crampons. With the small rubber point protectors, I often did without changing the crampons because I didn't want to mess with them. The material feels durable enough and I like the drainage mesh front. There are several ways to attach it to a backpack. I only gave it stars because it's not an 'exciting' or 'awesome' product: it's just a bag, after all. He does what he has to do and does it well. If I had any complaints, I'd like to add some loops to the bottom edges of the bag, not just the center back. It seems to me that it would be a little easier to attach it to the backpack that way and less likely to bounce and sway. I've used it on one trip so far (ice climbing and glacier trips near Juneau) and I liked it a lot better than my previous method of protecting everything from cat points. In fact, I am planning to buy my son's second cat bag.

Cons
