I have used several massagers over the years. The good ones don't seem to exist anymore, which is a real shame. Comparing it to others I've used I would say it has a very average design. It is difficult to control its position and firmness. It is very loud! The infrared light was the main reason I bought this model. The light worked 4 times and stopped. I've read other comments here and they say their lights didn't even work to begin with. Infrared radiation is very healing. I've used it before but can't find it anymore. When a product is so effective at improving health and customer satisfaction, it seems every manufacturer would jump on the bandwagon to make it. Instead, they are becoming increasingly difficult to find. I would classify this item as cheap junk. If I could find a really good one, I would pay 30.00 instead of 19.95, but you won't find "good" or "expensive". Strange. Maybe the AMA doesn't want us to get better. I do not know.
