Review on Motion Activated LED Garage Lights - 60W Deformable LED Garage Lights with 8000LM, Adjustable Panels for Superior Illumination and Energy Efficiency by Pat Slater

Very bright but short timer lets me work in the dark!

This light is amazingly bright, but we have two problems with it: - The timer stays pretty short. I've had it for about 4 months and I've found that it turns itself off when I'm working on a saw in the garage or in a corner where it can't see me and I have to walk around to try and get it return. This is especially dangerous when I'm making cuts on a miter saw and it suddenly goes pitch black. Our outlet in our garage is directly in front of the garage door opener. So if you're in the wrong part of the garage, you won't be seen by the sensors. Which is funny considering what we don't like about it. Although the sensor can't see us, it can see us through the doors if we're working on something in a corner of the garage. The entrance to our garage is through the laundry room and we can see through the slot that the light comes on when we are in the laundry room, indicating that the door is always closed. It doesn't matter much, but it seems like a waste of energy and the life of the light he can sense through the door. It's also a bit silly that he can feel through the door but doesn't feel like I'm on the other side of the garage door opener. I like brightness. If I wasn't outside the return window I would definitely return it and find the one with the longest sensor time. It's too dangerous to work with the saw when the lights are off.
