Review on Versachem 90180 Fuel Tank Repair Kit - Heavy-Duty, 30 Grams by Chris Horton

I needed this product to repair 2 small holes in a lawnmower's plastic fuel tank. I prepared the surfaces (sanded) for both holes and cut fiberglass patches for both holes before mixing the epoxy. Within seconds of mixing the epoxy, the bag became too hot to handle or work with. I had to try to find thermal hand protection before proceeding and within 1-2 minutes the epoxy was cured and unusable but still too hot to hold without gloves. Nothing in the instructions prepares you for the heat the epoxy bag will generate and if you can handle the heat the epoxy will be useless.
