Very easy to install

These things work best for slamming your RV door. I have a 2014 Sandpiper 5 wheeler RV and the large door that closes the underfloor storage has white plastic T-latches to keep the door out of the way. First, the castles were difficult to reach. Almost two people have to hold and lock the door from both sides at the same time. We were at an RV dealer recently looking at newer models and they had these magnets to slam the door shut. I said to my wife. I have to get us some. And I found her here. I had a brilliant idea how to install it. I put in a piece of double sided 3M tape that I had with my RC airplane build supplies. I put it on the back of all 4 magnets. First I unscrewed all 16 screws from the old latches and cleaned the holes. I placed the latches where I wanted them on the door, about 1" and 8" from the bottom. With servo tape they stay in place while I used the screws that came out of my latches because the magnets came with no hardware. I then placed the magnets on their matching servo tape and when I lifted the door the magnets stuck right where they should. I squeezed them very well so the tape could hold them. Then I slowly pulled the door to release the magnetic connection and added 4 more screws. ready! All I had to do was fill the holes with white silicone to hide the remaining 16 holes. The problem is solved!
