Review on ZEFFFKA Premium Quality Fabric Patches Sewing for Trim & Embellishments by Lori Aguirre

These works! follow instructions; Use only on 100% cotton

Last week I wrote a review about Singer brand repair patches and that the patches didn't stick to the 100% cotton fabric. This EU made Zefffka brand works much better on the same fabric! Should it be a different glue? or maybe the singer's part was just bad, idk. Important: Follow the instructions carefully. Only use on cotton or linen fabrics (to prevent them from melting at high temperatures). If you are unsure of the fiber content, check a small, hidden spot on the garment. (Test on a small, inconspicuous spot by applying the tip of an iron for 60 seconds. If it melts, it contains synthetic fibers and the patch will not work. Make sure it's a hidden spot as you otherwise have a melted hole in your clothing.) Apply the patch to the inside of the garment if you don't want the patch to be visible! For example, if you're concerned about sticking to the other side of your jeans, use parchment paper between the layers of fabric you're not pinning. Ideally use an ironing board to get the best pressure for gluing. strange packaging. What happened to the cat plaster pictured in the clear packaging? These are all white patches made from lightweight twill fabric. there is no cat Although I love cats, the packaging confuses me. Maybe it was repackaged somewhere during production? The instructions on the yellow sheet provided are detailed and helpful BUT note that they recommend putting a patch on the outside of your clothing. nope Apply inside. If it's a small enough hole, it won't be visible. OR, better yet, buy a fabric patch that's closer to what you're fixing. For example, they have denim blue patches that are obviously better suited to patching a pair of jeans. For me this white patch worked great to fix a woven white shirt.

Pros
  • 𝗘𝗮𝘀𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗹𝘆: Repairing or beautifying your outfit will only take a few minutes as only an iron is required. Heat the iron to high, then place the patch on the desired area and iron with pressure for 60 seconds. No need to sew on a patch or use additional fabric glue, the thermal adhesive on each patch is very strong on its own. ATTENTION: Do not apply patches with a hair straightener or other heated objects, only use with a straightening iron.
Cons
  • No work
