Only positive note is that the laptop arrived on time. With the laptop itself, problems were immediately noticeable when opening it. The left button on the mouse pad does not work, but is stuck in the down position and does not click. Poorly cut stickers were placed on the mouse pad's buttons and surrounding areas, presumably to hide cosmetic wear on the laptop. The charger that came with the kit was universal (as warned) with an adapter to work with a laptop. It's not like this. The message "Smart power adapter is not working properly" appeared on the screen. That means even if everything else were fine, I could only use the laptop until the battery died and then wait for a replacement. However, everything else was out of order. The speaker creaked again and again when opening Windows. More importantly, it should be 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD. I opened YouTube to check the audio and it loaded slower than my six year old 4GB, 256 HD. I don't know what process Revain and Microsoft use to verify the legitimacy of "upgraders," but it certainly deserves a review.
