I had indications of this as bad within minutes of installation. The screen went black for a second. I did some research and thought maybe my BIOS needed an update, but the shutdowns didn't occur. Then they got worse, more frequent and lasted longer until tonight the projector fan was running at full speed and the error lights indicated a bad lightbulb. Of course, that goes beyond the totally crappy 30-day return period. I've been using it in a projector for a couple of weeks and use it about 4 hours a day. Waste of money, waste of time, buy from a different company than these useless knockoffs, extended lamp life as a feature, complete nonsense.
