I'm an experienced wood carver but new to hanging doors. As there are no other door hangers to compare this to, maybe I'm being too harsh. However, this jig is what you would expect from a "cheap" jig - crude design and poor construction. Others have already commented on the quality of construction. Inaccuracies in hand drilling show up in template alignment - compounded by the fact that the screw holes in the metal plate are not recessed. When you're done, both the door stub and door gap turn into Swiss cheese from abandoned screw holes; 5) Finally, the mount doesn't offer anything at all to help with adjusting the depth of the cutter. The shape of the device makes it difficult to set the initial depth. If you need accuracy at depth, be prepared for a process of trial and error.
