I am a lazy reviewer. I've experimented with so many products that I won't waste time on mediocre products. This product would get 0 stars if there was an option. First, the packaging says "read the instructions before use" but there are no instructions in the kit. Nice, got it? how hard can it be Well, I soon found out a great deal. The pump didn't work one iota. But it is okay. I'll deflate the traditional way. Everything will be fine, at least I thought so. The chicken dinner on the first evening went quite well. The next day I wanted to try the mashed potatoes recipe. So I load my bag with all my ingredients and I'm so excited to try this as I can smell the cream and butter in the sous vide bath. Once that's done I test the water and it's completely clear. Good sign! I pick up the bag and my potatoes are SOAKED in water I didn't add. When I pick up the bag, the sous vide bath water somehow got in through the vacuum seal hole that didn't work last night. That is, air does not escape, but water flows through? It does not make sense. I made sure everything was properly sealed and assembled. These products are a huge scam. Please don't waste your time. I would have attached a photo, but I was so looking forward to delicious potatoes that I threw it all away in a fit of rage when I saw the chaos.
