Round bowls are good so far, but there are problems with the rectangular ones. They are only magnetized in the middle where the round magnet is at the bottom. If you have small items on the sides, they will fall out as the magnetic force will not keep them in the tray. Rectangular trays should have one long rectangular magnet or two round magnets to cover the entire bottom so the entire surface is usable. Fill the entire space so that the magnet catches long objects in the middle (e.g. invisible hairpins). A pile of small items will not work in a rectangular tray as the items will fall out on the sides. I wonder if I'll keep them to myself. I would have ordered 3 packs of round bowls but the price has gone up $6 in the last week. Hmm, the company may know that rectangular ones have downsides.
