Leak Good Disposable pads are much better at handling heavy leaks. For the first few months of breastfeeding, before my milk production adjusted, I had severe patches if I didn't adjust for more than about 2.5 hours. That is, almost every time I tried to sleep. Even now I sometimes put on a wet t-shirt at night (because the kid sleeps in late at night) if one of them gets soaked. Also, if you have a big seizure while breastfeeding, you run the risk of the non-feeding side getting wet from the pads. I started folding disposable pads underneath and these against my skin so I could use disposable pads longer and not be so wasteful and just change these when they get wet. I will say they are SUPER soft on my skin. (Disposables tend to rub more). A final comment is that they are cute in the shape of a heart but don't stay in place very well. I have to reconfigure them millions of times a day. Big round night - where they are. If I could remake I would just buy the night masks and use them for both day and night coverage (combined with disposables for better leak protection).
