Box Impressions: This should do the job pretty well. After Use: While this works for Jeep axle shafts, there isn't a good bite on the shafts to push the gimbals straight out. You end up fighting it because the hold down arms slip off the U-joint flanges. Made it through one set of stems, but halfway through the second set I had to turn the cup over to keep it from slipping every time a little pressure was applied to it. Better hold the flanges, it's a game changer. But with its current design, it has short ears that bend after a stuck U-connector. It probably works great on driveshafts, but Jeep half-shafts make it a pair or two, turning it into a junk tool.
