The thing is terrible! The amount of great reviews is just shocking. I bought mine for less than $10 during a sale and I still feel cheated! The light emitted by this thing is almost non-existent. A $5 headlamp would be 100 times better. The button with the three white lights has almost no resistance, so the lightest press turns it on. We don't care about our flexi-leads (which are AWESOME by the way!) so this flashlight is the closest we can get to being empty. I don't understand why the button for the white light isn't set up the same way as the red light, which normally doesn't come on until you want to use it. The battery cover is a PITA that needs to be removed and replaced. Every time I do this I hold my breath and hope it doesn't break. - I thought it would be handy. I couldn't be more wrong. Trying to direct the light with the same device you use to control the leash can sometimes be impossible. A wide beam flashlight attached with tape or velcro would be much better.
