Buy this travel cot!

This thing is amazing and while there haven't been many reviews to put my mind at ease, I'm really glad I went for it! I was able to open this crib and make it ready to use. 2 minutes. It's not difficult at all! Again, it took a little longer to set up the first time, but now that I've done it once I'm sure I can do it again very quickly. It's not difficult, but the direction wasn't entirely clear to me at first. It easily fits back into your pocket. My baby is too big for the carrier but I installed it to see how it looks and it seems very sturdy. If you don't need it, you can leave it out of the package when traveling and it will lighten the weight a bit (although it's not heavy anyway). The zippered door was an absolute must for me because my baby needs me to fall asleep next to it. At home we use a stroller, but when traveling this is the only solution other than sleeping together, which is not always safe or possible. I'm surprised this feature isn't available in other popular cribs. The only other one I know of is the Guava Lotus crib. Compared to the Guava Lotus, this one is a lot cheaper, especially considering it includes a bassinet, white noise, and 2 white sheets. The mattress is much thicker and more comfortable than our regular Graco Pack n Play mattress. The sheets provided aren't particularly soft (maybe they get softer after washing?), but in my experience, babies don't really care. They fit and that's what matters. The White Noise machine is small and USB rechargeable. It seems to run pretty loud and I can only hope it lasts 12 hours on a single charge, but I haven't tried it yet. We use the Hatch at home so I'm used to better sound quality than this, but that's another thing that babies aren't usually happy about. Happy child = happy mother. To be honest I think the only reason to choose Guava Lotus over this crib is the compactness. Lotus can be used as carry-on baggage for flights and must be checked in. However, most airlines test such baby items for free, even for babies on their laps. Highly recommend this crib for breastfeeding moms or anyone who needs to be close to their baby while sleeping. High quality, great price and overall a very well thought out product.
