Review on Optimized Voigtlander Nokton 40mm f/1.2 Aspherical Lens for Sony E-Mount by Thimothy Purnell

This is the lens I carry with my camera most of the time. It's just one of those dependable, versatile lenses that perform well in a variety of situations. It's pretty sharp - at least for me, but I'm not a fan of the clinically sharp fan club - and takes nice photos. The wide aperture range also makes operation a pleasure. As some people might point out, it has a way of capturing an almost cinematic quality that works in its favor.
