Bad battery in computers and tablets

It drains about 20% of the battery in about 4 days. I turned it off completely once and it ran out of juice in less than a couple of days so I can't turn it off. I have to keep charging it even though Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are off and no peripherals are connected. The keyboard is very difficult to see even though it is backlit.
